    Enjoy a 7 Day tour in Riga and Tallinn, the capitals of Latvia and Estonia. Riga is located on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the River Daugava, the city is known for its Art Nouveau architecture, wooden buildings and medieval Old Town, which offers shops and restaurants. Tallinn, situated on the Gulf of Finland is a beautiful cobblestoned, walled Old Town, home to cafes and shops and plenty of historic places to visit.  Our tour includes accommodation with breakfast at 4 star hotels and orientation tours on foot; there is the option to book additional sightseeing tours allowing you to choose to explore with us or explore independently.  You can choose to start your tour in Riga or Tallinn.

    Tours are available throughout the year and are guaranteed to run with a minimum of 2 passengers. Simply book your own flight/train to your chosen starting point and we will do the rest.

  • Itinerary – Riga and Tallinn Tour

    Day 1

    Upon arrival in Riga, make your way to the hotel to check in for 3 nights (private transfer available at additional cost).

    Day 2
    After breakfast, our English-speaking tour guide will meet you at reception for an orientation tour of the city on foot. You will see some of the famous landmarks and places to which you may return at your leisure. The tour includes the famous landmarks of Riga such as the House of Blackheads and St. Peter’s Church. Included in the tour is a visit to The Art Nouveau Museum.

     Day 3 

    Day at leisure OR alternatively, pre-book our optional tour:

    Optional tour to Rundale Palace – 6 hour excursion

    The magnificent Rundale Palace was built for the Duke of Courland in the 18th century, and lies just over an hour south of Riga. On this full-day tour, admire the palace’s Baroque and Rococo architecture, stroll around the Versailles-inspired gardens, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant included in the price.

    Day 4

    After breakfast at your hotel, check out by 12.00 noon.

    Make your way to the bus station (private transfer available at additional cost) for you Luxexpress journey to Tallinn.

    Upon arrival in Tallinn, make your way to the hotel to check in for 3 nights (private transfer available at additional cost).

    Day 5

    After breakfast, our English-speaking tour guide will meet you at reception for an orientation tour of the city on foot. On this tour you will discover all the main highlights, – the Latin Quarter where a Dominican monastery was once situated and you will find the houses of merchant and craftsmen guilds in Pikk Street. You will see the churches of the Holy Ghost, St. Nicolas and St. Olaf and you can admire the medieval architecture. You will also visit Upper Town – the town of nobles and knights.

    Optional tour to Kadriorg Palace, Peter 1 House & Pirita area – half day excursion

    The House of Peter the Great is the oldest museum in Tallinn, which was opened in 1806 on the orders of Russian emperor Alexander I. Tsar Peter I of Russia acquired the 17th-century building in 1714 and used it as his residence during his visits to Tallinn.  He also acquired the lands surrounding the manor by 1718 and started building Kadriorg Palace, it was named in honour of his wife Catherine I. This Roman Baroque palace is surrounded by a garden of fountains, hedges, and flowerbeds, modelled on Versailles. Pirita is a beautiful and prestigious area just outside of the city centre with a natural beach and a yachting harbour.

    Nordic Hotel Forum, Tallinn

    The Nordic Hotel Forum is a modern four-star superior business hotel in the very heart of Tallinn, and underwent a full renovation in August 2021. The hotel offers a very good standard of accommodation on the edge of the picturesque Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rooms are spacious and have an en-suite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The hotel has a lobby bar and a restaurant.
