  • Overview: Cycling & Coach Tour Baltics Lithuania – Latvia – Estonia

Route includes: Vilnius – Curonian Spit – Riga – Sigulda – Saaremaa Island –Tallinn
    Price from only €1,499 p.p.

For cycling enthusiasts, or if you would simply like to enjoy a new experience, why not explore the Baltic coast and National Parks of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia on very scenic routes. The tour combining cycling and coach travel includes the three capital cities – Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn – with their Old Towns all designated as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. We also visit the previously closed Curonian Spit and the largest and most beautiful Estonian island of Saaremaa. Travel from Lithuania in the south, through Latvia and conclude your adventure in Estonia in the north. You’ll experience a wide variety of towns, villages and countryside for an excellent introduction to the charm and very distinct characters of these quite different countries.

The Cycling & Coach Tour Baltics begins in Tallinn where you get your tour maps with detailed program and route description. Next day your rental bicycles will be ready for your first ride in Lahemaa. This trip is a half-guided tour i.e. during the whole trip, except Jurmala and the Curonian Spit, our driver with a minibus and bike trailer is with you and you can take part in city tours (Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius) lead by professional guides. Our driver will transport your luggage every day to the next hotel. If you have a breakdown, then our driver will take care of everything for you. If you have any problems – contact the driver or our office. To make certain that you are well looked after, we only employ people, who have good local knowledge and speak English.

Arrival / Departure airports : Arrive in Vilnius (Lithuania) and depart from Tallinn (Estonia). Cycling grade: We rate this trip ‘Easygoing to Moderate’ with an intensive tour programme. Daily biking routes mainly on low traffic roads and cycle paths range from 30 to 58 km (19-36 miles) each day. The terrain is varied and rolling with a few gradual hills on some riding days (a few steep ups and downs in the Gauja River valley) and dead flat most of the tour. The tour covers all three Baltic States and therefore it includes a few longer bus transfers between the most interesting cycling destinations and the capital cities. Cycle rental is included in the price, you may upgrade to E-cycle for a supplement. Please note our walking sightseeing tours in the capital old towns are along cobbled streets.

    Distances covered:
    Cycling 364 km / 228 miles
    Motor Coach 1335 km / 834 miles
    Boat/ferry 12 km/8 miles or 62 km / 39miles
