DAY 1:  STARTING FROM VENICE (to Opatija)

Pick up at Tronchetto Bus station or at the Venice airports (Marco Polo or Treviso).
Transfer to Opatija on the Croatian riviera, just 3 hours from Venice.

DAY 2: OPATIJA WALKING TOUR

Breakfast in the hotel, followed by a morning guided tour of Opatija. DAY 3: PULA

Opatija

Today, after breakfast, it’s time to get to know the Istrian peninsula and visit the 2000-year-old Roman Colosseum in Pula. Explore Rovinj, a charming coastal gem considered to be the most beautiful city in Istria and an inspiration to many artists. Time at leisure in Rovinj to stroll the cobbled streets, visit the art galleries or relax over a glass of cocktail in one of the cliffside bars. Return to Opatija,

DAY 4: OPATIJA

After breakfast, check out and independent departure or join your vessel if continuing on one of our Croatian cruises.

DAY 3:  PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT

Opatija

After breakfast, morning departure towards the spectacular Plitvice National Park, famous for its 16 lakes, connected with a series of waterfalls. A 3 hour walk in this wonderful environment enjoying a boat ride on the emerald green Kozjak Lake and the street train back to the entrance. Drive to Split

DAY 4: SPLIT

Breakfast in the hotel. Morning guided tour of Split, the largest city in Dalmatia with a rich cultural heritage dating from the Roman times.
At the core of this sprawling cityscape is the amazing palace constructed by Emperor Diocletian for his golden years at the turn of the 4th century.
To this day, the Palace remains one of the best-preserved monuments of Roman architecture in the world.
Take a walk along Riva – the main waterfront promenade, often called the city’s “living-room”. This vivid pedestrian area offers numerous bars and restaurants where the locals gather to discuss their everyday lives over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
