Itinerary – Vilnius City Tour

Day 1

Upon arrival in Vilnius, make your way to the hotel to check in for 3 nights (private transfer available at additional cost).

Day 2

After breakfast, our English-speaking tour guide will meet you at reception for an orientation tour of the city on foot. Discover baroque architecture and medieval heritage in Lithuania and gain insight into the city’s rich history. Your guide will take you through mn, the historic Old Town and along the way you will see the city’s attractions and famous landmarks including the Church of St Francis and St Bernard, Gediminas’ Tower, the Presidential Palace and Vilnius Cathedral.

Day 3

Optional tour to Trakai Castle – half day tour

Trakai was treasured by the Dukes of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania as their capital and is still loved by locals and visitors for its astonishing natural attractions. Located just 28 kilometres from Vilnius, the former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is situated in a picturesque lakeside area, making it one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. Upon arrival, explore the historic town and well preserved ruins of the Peninsula Castle, set on its own island in Lake Galvė. It was reconstructed according to its 15th century plan after World War 2 and now houses the Trakai History museum too.

Day 4 

After breakfast at your hotel, check out by 12.00 noon.

Make your own way to the airport or railway station, or ask us about booking a private departure transfer at additional cost.

Best Western Vilnius is located on the right side of the river Neris in the up-and-coming business district within walking distance of the Old town. The hotel has been newly renovated and all rooms have TV, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. The hotel offers a small gym, sauna and swimming pool free to guests.
