Itinerary – Međugorje Pilgrimage Tour from Split

Day 1: SPLIT – SINJ – MEĐUGORJE

Pick up at Split airport or port.
On our way to Bosnia & Herzogovina, we will make a stop in Sinj, a historic town and location of one of the greatest Marian sanctuaries in Croatia. Enjoy some free time in Sinj, then we drive further to Međugorje to check in for 3 nights. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 2: MEĐUGORJE

Međugorje, is now a world-famous place of religious pilgrimage, due to the apparitions of the Virgin Mary on June 24th 1981. Međugorje became Europe’s third most important apparition site with more than one million visitors every year.

Day 3: MEĐUGORJE – MOSTAR – MEĐUGORJE

Excursion to Mostar – where “the east meets west “. Mostar is not only divided by the Neretva River, but also by religion and culture from one bank to the other. The most important site is the “Old Bridge” a reconstructed medieval arched bridge and the nearby old quarter, where we will visit a mosque and a traditional Turkish house. The nearby alleys are full of shops and market stalls, and the Old Bridge Museum explores the bridge’s long history. A narrow staircase leads up to the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque’s minaret for panoramic city views.
